Making the UAE a frontrunner in life-changing healthcare improvements
Al Jalila Foundation is championing long-term improvements in healthcare to transform the lives of people in the UAE and beyond. Our not-for-profit organisation was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on 1 April 2013 to support medical research to improve the health of the nation.
We work closely with philanthropists, strategic partners, sponsors and the wider community to tackle the most pressing healthcare challenges such as diabetes, cancer and genetic disorders amongst others. Our diverse programmes help to ensure that no member of our society will be left behind in the race for a better quality of life. We follow a holistic approach focused on early diagnosis, public awareness, advocacy and research in order to deliver widespread benefits.
